FIRST AID
The purpose of First Aid is to minimize injury and future disability. In serious cases, First Aid may be necessary to keep the victim alive.
It is important to know when to call 9-1-1 for life-threatening emergencies. While waiting for help to arrive, you may give aid to the victim, increasing his or her chance of survival.
You will learn how to handle common injuries and wounds, burns, bleeding, and more.
It is important to have a First Aid kit available. Keep one at home and one in your car. And know the location of the First Aid kit at your place of work.
